Check-in/Check-out

What is the check-in time?

Check-in is available from 15:00 to 23:00.
Check-in can be done at the front desk.
The following items should be prepared at that time:
・Reservation confirmation email with reservation name and reservation number
・Customers with foreign nationality and no address in Japan: Passport

Is early check-in available?

Early check-in is not accepted. Luggage storage before check-in time is available from 8am.

Can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Luggage storage is possible before check-in and after check-out. Please inquire at the front desk.
You can leave your luggage before check-out from 8:00.
After check-out, the storage time is until 23:00 on the same day.
Luggage storage on check-in and check-out days is free. If you wish to store your luggage before your check-in date or after your check-out date, we will charge the following fees.
Per person per day: 200 yen

Can I change my planned check-in time?

Check-in reception hours are from 15:00 to 23:00.
If you check in on time, there is no need to contact us.

Late check-in is possible up to 24:00 only if you contact us in advance.
Late check-in will incur an additional charge of 1,000 yen and will only be accepted by cashless payment.
In addition, if it exceeds 24 hours, it will be automatically canceled. We are unable to provide refunds.

What is the check-out time?

Check-out is available until 10:00.
・Check-out after 8:00: Please return your room card (and locker key in the case of dormitory) to the front desk staff.
・Check-out before 8:00: Please return your room card (along with the locker key if you are staying in a dormitory) in the room key return box located at the front desk. The main entrance is locked, so please exit through the back door.

Can I extend my stay or the check-out time?

Late check-outs are not accepted.
Check-out between 10:00 and 11:00 will be charged 1,000 yen, and check-out after 11:00 will be charged 1 night’s accommodation fee.
(Please note that this is not an extended stay.)

Our facility offers 11 types of rooms that you can choose from depending on your needs, from rooms with shared dormitory beds to private rooms with a focus on privacy.

What amenities are provided in the rooms?

Room facilities vary depending on the room. The facilities in each room are as follows.

Is there WiFi in the rooms?

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.

Is there a toilet in the rooms?

Only complex rooms (8 people) and family rooms (6 people) have private toilets in the room.
Guests staying in other rooms should use the shared toilets on each floor.

Do the rooms have a shower and bathtub?

Only complex rooms (rooms for 8 people) and family rooms (rooms for 6 people) have their own bathrooms.
For rooms other than those listed above, please use the shared bathroom on each floor.
There is no bathtub.

Is there a hairdryer in the rooms?

Hair dryers are located in the shared bathrooms on each floor.
Rooms with private bathrooms are also available.

Is there a safe in the rooms?

Lockers for valuables are provided only in dormitory rooms.

Are there coin lockers available?

There are no coin lockers.
Dormitory rooms have lockers with keys for valuables.

What is the maximum number of guests allowed per room?

It depends on the room.
・Dormitory: Up to 1 person per bed
・Twin: up to 2 people
・Triple: up to 3 people
・Standard family: up to 6 people
・Complex room (superior family): up to 8 people

Are the room keys equipped with auto-lock?

The room is automatically locked.
Please be sure to bring your room card with you when you go out.

Is there a microwave?

Available in the shared kitchen on the 1st floor.

Is there a refrigerator? Are there drinks inside?

Only standard family rooms are available.
Guests staying in other rooms may use the refrigerator in the shared kitchen.

Amenity services

What amenities are provided?

At Cocts Akihabara, whose concept is “For someone in everyday life,” we have kept the number of amenities to a minimum in consideration of the environment. The following amenities are available.

*Family rooms (rooms for 6 people) and complex rooms (rooms for 8 people) only come with one set of towels per person.

Is there coffee or tea (black tea, green tea, etc.)?

Coffee, tea, green tea and donuts are available for breakfast at the front desk. Even if you want breakfast included, please make a reservation the day before.

Are meals included?

[Restaurants] Healthy&co is located in the lounge on the 1st floor, where you can enjoy healthy dishes such as chicken over rice with brown rice and salads.
Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy a 10% discount.
Business hours: Healthy&co 8:00-14:00. 17:00-22:00

[Breakfast] Coffee, tea, green tea and donuts are available for breakfast at the front desk. Even if you want breakfast included, please make a reservation the day before.

Are there pajamas or yukata provided?

We do not provide indoor wear at this facility.

What is available in the kitchen (cooking utensils, dishes, seasonings, etc.)?

There is a shared kitchen on the first floor that is available 24 hours a day.
The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and seasonings.

There is one coin laundry on the 4th floor.
Washing and drying course: 600 yen
Currency exchange is available at the front desk.

Can I send my luggage to the hotel in advance?

Luggage storage is possible under the following conditions.
・Only advance payment is possible
・Frozen/refrigerated products are not allowed.
・Please state the name of the person making the reservation and the check-in date.
・Paid except on check-in/out days: 200 yen per person per day
Please note that we are unable to send parcels by courier from our hotel.

How can I confirm my reservation?

We will send you a reservation confirmation email when you make your reservation. Depending on the reservation site, your contact information may not be provided to the hotel. If you cannot confirm your reservation confirmation email, please contact us at the email address below.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Cancellations made after a reservation is completed may incur a cancellation fee according to the cancellation policy at the time of reservation.
Non-refundable plan: 100% after confirmation of reservation
Standard plan: 100% from 3 days before reservation

Where can I check availability and room rates?

Room prices vary depending on the date and booking site. Please check availability and rates on https://cocts.jp or other reservation sites.

What payment methods are available?

The only payment method for this facility, including the attached restaurant, is cashless payment. Cash is not accepted.

Can I get a receipt?

For reservations made with local payment, a receipt will be issued at the front desk.
If you wish to pay in advance, you can obtain it from the reservation site.

Are there discounts for extended stays?

Monthly plans are available in limited quantities.
Please check here for more details. If you select 30 nights, you can apply the monthly plan.

Are there any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby?

There is a 24-hour Family Mart about a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Are there any recommended restaurants nearby?

· 8 minutes walk from Mizushinsaikan (Chinese)
· 3 minutes walk from Kuroi (Ramen)
· 8 minutes walk from Ichikatsu (Tonkatsu)

What is the concept of the hotel?

Cocts Akihabara is an accommodation facility where you can contribute to society just by staying there.
The relaxing space is sprinkled with opportunities for “someone.”
If we make a few changes, we aim to create a space that gives people ideas for living that can help others and opportunities to look at society.

Can I request room cleaning for extended stays?

Intermediate cleaning can be done once every 4 days.
Please note that this is only possible if you contact us by the day before.

Is there a curfew?

The museum closes at 23:00, but there is a back entrance that is open 24 hours a day, so you are free to go out even after closing.

Are there any smoking areas?

The entire building is non-smoking. There is a smoking area on the rooftop, so please refrain from smoking indoors. (Including indoor balcony)

If smoking is found in the room, an additional charge of 20,000 yen will be charged.
*This also applies if you dispose of butts in your room.

What should I do if I can’t figure out how to open the door?

In order to strengthen security, our facility has installed number locks on the doors of the rooms. Please use the following steps.
1. Start by gently touching the screen with two fingers.
2. Enter your password and the door will be unlocked automatically.

Are children allowed to stay?

Acceptance of children varies depending on the room type.
・Dormitory: Children under 16 years old cannot stay.
・Private room (shared bathroom): Infants not allowed (0-2 years old), but adults aged 3 years and older can stay.
・Family room: Infants not allowed (0-2 years old), but adults over 3 years old can stay.
・Complex room (superior family) (8 people): No co-sleeping allowed, 0-year-old children allowed in adult terms

Can minors stay without an adult?

Parental consent is required for minors (under 18 years of age) staying alone. Please use the URL below to fill out the consent form for accommodation for minors.

*If the consent form is not submitted, we will not be able to accept your stay and will charge you a cancellation fee based on the reservation cancellation policy.
*If you are under 16 years old, you must be accompanied by someone over 18 years old.
*Persons under the age of 16 cannot stay in a dormitory room even if accompanied by an adult.

What should I do if I forget something?

Unless otherwise specified, lost items will be kept for 14 days from the date they are received (or found) and will be discarded if we do not hear from you.

Please note that lost items can only be shipped within Japan. We do not accept requests for shipping outside of the country.

Is there a bicycle parking area?

This facility does not have a bicycle parking lot.

Is there parking available and what are the parking fees?

There is no parking lot at this facility.
Please use paid parking lots nearby.
